Interested in learning a health enhancing technique that takes only minutes?
Come learn how in only minutes you can enhance your health-truly bringing harmony to your body’s overall health more powerfully than just about any other practice or therapy.
At 1:00pm, featured speaker, Joan Parisi Wilcox, will update you on the latest frontier science that shows how your heart-and the health indicator called “coherence”-is at the forefront of a healthy body, mind and spirit.
What is coherence? Think of the ocean on a calm day. The surface may be relatively smooth and calm, but underneath there may be deep, strong currents roiling, moving in chaotic ways and in counterpoint to one another. When medical researchers measure coherence in health, they look “beneath the surface” to the deep currents of your body’s energy systems, to your autonomic systems-those systems you usually have no conscious awareness of, such as blood pressure, heart rate variability, brain waves, etc.
Joan will show you amazing illustrations of both an incoherent and a coherent body, demonstrating how with only a few minutes of heart-centered awareness the “deep currents” of your body swiftly morph into a finely tuned resonant oneness. This “oneness” is the coherence that signals optimal health-and your heart is the conductor of this inner symphony. Plus, your heart is an intelligent and even an intuitive organ, and Joan will guide you through a heart-based practice that you can use anytime and anywhere to tap into this fount of inner wisdom in only minutes.

The Heart: The Emperor of the Body w/ Joan Parisi Wilcox
Saturday, 1/28, 1:00pm-1:45pm, FREE.
The ancient Chinese called the heart the emperor of the body, and modern science is proving them correct. The heart has been the subject of intensive conventional and non-traditional research, and the findings are nothing short of astounding. Heart-beat variability, heart coherence, the heart as an intuitive organ, the heart as imprinter of information—your heart is a key to your health and well-being. Join us as Joan Parisi Wilcox reveals some of the exciting findings about your heart and health, and shares several simple techniques to tap into the healing power of your heart.
Joan Parisi Wilcox is a writer and editor with specialties in metaphysics, frontier science, biology and alternative health, indigenous traditions, and more. She is the author of dozens of magazine articles and three books: Masters of the Living Energy: The Mystical World of the Q’ero of Peru; Ayahuasca: The Visionary and Healing Powers of the Vine of the Soul; and Decoding the Human Body-Field: The New Science of Information as Medicine. She is the managing editor of the free international online magazine, Quantum Health, and has presented papers and spoken at conferences nationally and internationally. She lives in Sebastopol, CA.
